Vakama Concept #1

Here is the initial concept for Vakama in my live-action Bionicle spec film.  I'll be adding details as I expand the artwork design, including various angles of the helmet so the rear flaps are visible.

The upper and lower heat flaps were incorporated to allow for expression and emotion without compromising practicality.  When Vakama is working the furnaces, he can lower/raise the flaps to shield optical circuits from damage.  The attachments around his "snout" are temperature guages that are so precise, Vakama can sense a foreign presence entering the room without visual confirmation.  There is a plethora of details for the new design, but since it is only the head thus far, I will save the rest for remaining works.

As for the plans for the film, it will involve Metru Nui, as well as the first Toa (before they were members of the Order of Mata Nui).
