My first go at the alien armor!!!!!!!! The helmet is based off of the space helmet in the movie, and I made the armor myself, and it is based off of a mix of the exosuit (that giant robot thing that kicks ass!) and the design of their exoskeletons.
Now to Corey... ehem, I mean "Blade" <air quote>. The nickname came from a reputation among the humans for his apparent obsession with blades and knives, and Corey... well, likes it. Whether he is obsessed or not with them is beside the fact that he is actually a very talented expert in knives and CQB. He is also very animated, and enjoys expressing himself and being different. Because of this, he paints his armor since day one, and decorates it with words, pictures, and emblems. In the picture, he has a skull on his arm plate, the alien emblem on his right chest, some random alien symbol on his left chest, and flames painted on his flanks. On the back, he has a scratched picture of an alien yelling or roaring. This picture especially, is his callsign, and he will even put it on his helmet on a few occasions. His rebellious nature originates from his youth, being he is the equivelant of an undergrad college student, so he is experimentive, adventurous, and looking to be more independent.
His knife locations are given, and I gave a picture of a blade he made special for himself, and a diagram of his assasin's knife. It is activated by a twist-and-flick switch on his helmet, which sends a signal to the transmitter, which activates the battery, which moves the knife into position. This all happens in less than a millisecond (thank you electricity). He simplifies this device later, but for now, he just wanted the knife so he could give one last surprise if he got captured. He would put his hands on his like he was surrendering, and the rest is history.
Meet Corey, the animated, iconoclastic alien from D9.
